Join Dr. Steven Jasinski, the new Curator of Paleontology at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science for a discussion of life in the Late Cretaceous Period. Dr. Jasinski has spent more than a decade researching Late Cretaceous dinosaurs and the world they lived in. He will present on the dinosaurs that roamed New Mexico roughly 70 million years ago, the ones that called the state home and others that may have just been visiting.About the Speaker: Dr. Jasinski received his Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania while conducting field work and research in New Mexico. He was previously the Curator at the State Museum of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on understanding ancient biodiversity and how it changes through time.
