A very subtle, penumbral lunar eclipse will be in progress as the moon rises on the evening of February 10. To find out what a penumbral eclipse is, read this article:

A telescope will be available on the plaza in front of the museum entrance (where the metal dinosaurs are) if the eastern sky is clear. A peek through the telescope and simple interpretation of eclipses will be the extent of the activities for this minor astronomical event, so stop by if you’re out and about that evening. This event is canceled if the sky is cloudy.
