By Christopher Blazina, Ph.D., Psychologist

Thursday, March 31, 2022 5:00-6:30pm

Are you part of a community that you didn’t know existed? Dickens, Darwin, Byrd, and Freud all had a love of dogs. The bond between human and dog reveals a fresh perspective into the best parts of who we are. Dr. Blazina has a unique ability to take complex issues and make them easily accessible. Join him as he discusses the human-dog bond and the psychology of animal companions.

Dr. Chris Blazina has worked as a psychologist for over 25 years, and was a professor (Univ. of Houston, TSU, and NMSU) for 20 years. He is an award-winning author of eight books, including his most recent, “One Unwavering Friend: Heartwarming Tales of Men and Dogs.” Dr. Blazina practices in the Albuquerque, NM area and works with a wide range of adult clinical issues including relationship problems, depression, anxiety, grief and loss including pet bereavement. He specializes in working with men and man’s best friend. He received his Ph.D. from the Univ. of North Texas.
