The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center has a variety of education programs. The majority of our programming is conducted at our 128-acre facility in Cedar Crest, NM but we do have a statewide outreach program as well. Public Programs

The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center will be opening its doors to the public the first Saturday of every month between March and September. All Saturdays will include self-guided hikes, two hands-on exhibit rooms, and a bird viewing deck. Each month there will be specific themes such as birding, guided hikes and family days.
