NMMNHS NAMED ONE OF 10 BEST FAMILY MUSEUMS IN THE UNITED STATES
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science is very proud to announce that it has earned third place in the 10Best.com Reader’s Choice Award! The voting occurred over a three week period, and the field included some impressive American museums like the American Natural History Museum, the Smithsonian, and the Discovery Center!
Museum Director Charles Walter was pleased with the award: “It is always nice to earn accolades, but this one is special because it was decided by our visitors in an open vote.” The Museum was in the top 5 for most of the voting period before finally settling in at number three. Walter said, “We have an amazing staff at NMMNHS who all work hard to provide our visitors with the best experience possible, and this award is a testament to the job they do!”
