Dinosaur Discoverers Event at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science is celebrating New Mexico’s centennial through a special, one of a kind, exhibit: Dinosaur Century: 100 Years of Discovery. Though, not only does this exhibit tell the story about the dinosaurs discovered in New Mexico over the last century – it also tells the story about the people who made these discoveries. Join us on August 4, 2012 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Museum - and you can meet several of the dinosaur discoverers featured in Dinosaur Century! Dinosaur Discovers will be on hand to interact with the public on this day only. Find out how they made the discoveries and how long they have been “hunting” dinosaurs. You can get your picture taken with them and get their autographs! The event is free with paid museum admission.
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science preserves and interprets the distinctive natural and scientific heritage of our state through extraordinary collections, research, exhibits and programs designed to ignite a passion for lifelong learning.
