First Sundays at the Sandia Mountain Natural History Center: Arthropods

Sandia Mountain Natural History Center (SMNHC), the Museum’s off-site environmental education facility located in the Sandia Mountains.  Attend a special natural history presentation, and experience geocaching, the bird blind, self-guided hikes, picnicking, and solar telescope viewing.

The SMNHC is operated by the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. Gates open for the public at 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

On the first Sunday of every month, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science is FREE to all New Mexico residents.  Bring a NM ID or proof of residence, regular admission fees for DynaTheather and Planetarium shows.
