Theme announcement for the 2009 Naturescapes Photo Salon — Being There: Photographers In Their Natural Habitat

If you are one of the fortunate you are there all the time, but for most of us it's that place we want to be - that place we feel one with nature and enjoy what we like to do most - photographing New Mexico's wildlife and natural wonders. Do you have a special place that you are willing to share?

The theme for the 2009 Naturescapes Photo Salon is Being There: Photographers In Their Natural Habitat. To make the competition a bit more challenging and true to the theme, photographers were required to include themselves in the photograph, whole or in part, as evidence that their being was there.
