Mountain Stargazing at SMNHC

Sandia Mountain Natural History Center

The Museum and The Albuquerque Astronomical Society will conduct star and constellation tours and set up telescopes for studying planets and deep-sky objects (weather permitting). The hiking trails will be open for exploring prior to the sky observing starting around 8 p.m. If the weather is questionable on the day of the event, check the Museum’s Facebook page or contact 505-281-5259 or paul.mauermann@state.nm.us  Get directions to the center here:
