There is a lot of buzz about mindfulness everywhere we look these days. Have you ever wondered exactly what it is? Mindfulness practices have been implemented with success in the medical and health field for over 30 years, helping people reduce stress and live life with more ease. Current research is focusing in on how mindfulness helps us calm the nervous system creating new neural pathways in the brain. During this experiential workshop you will get a taste of how mindfulness practices could have a positive impact on your life.

Instructor, Marnie Rehn, is currently completing her certification as a Teacher-In-Training with the Mindfulness Training Institute (MTI), an International Mindfulness Training Association (IMTA) accredited program. Facilitators trained by MTI offer six-week introductory mindfulness trainings in over 200 countries around the world. She has been teaching the Mindful School’s curriculum of the Mindfulness Essentials for the past year to youth and adults.
